The Marion Municipal Swimming Pool is located at Willowood Park, 1855 35th Street in Marion, Iowa. The pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year.

The Marion Pool is located at Willowood Park, 1855 35th Street. With many pool staff members heading off to college or back to school, the pool will be open reduced hours. The pool will officially close for the season on Labor Day.Lap Swim only from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Pool Passes

Purchase season passes at the swimming pool. Only cash or check accepted for payment at pool.
Family Season Pass Includes two adults and immediate children that all reside at the same address. This can include children of divorced parents who have joint custody, step-children, or foster children. A babysitter/nanny may be added to your family pass for an additional $75. A babysitter is defined as a responsible adult that will bring your children to the pool and supervise them in your absence.
Discounted Admission Days
Pay $2 per person on these special admission days: June 16, July 14, Aug. 11Family Swim Special
Every Wednesday from 4:30–7 p.m. and every Sunday, 3–5 p.m. Bring the entire family for a swim at the Marion Pool for just $12. Admission can include up to a maximum of 2 adults and 4 children under the age of 18. This can include grandparents bringing grandchildren. Family rate available on Wednesday and Sunday evenings ONLY.
Private Pool Rentals
Evening rentals of the Marion Municipal Pool are available for birthday parties, neighborhood gatherings, church groups, etc. To make a reservation before May 27, contact the Recreation office at 447-3590. After May 27, contact the pool at 377-1654.

Life Jackets
Do you have child-size life jackets that you no longer use? Please consider donating them to the Marion Pool for our swim lesson program. We use them to teach life jacket safety. Life jackets can be dropped off at the Lowe Park Arts & Environment Center anytime between 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Thank you in advance!
Marion’s Smoke-Free Parks Ordinance
With a goal to be the healthiest city in the state and a vision to be the best place in Iowa to raise a family, the City of Marion has made the commitment to smoke-free, nicotine-free and tobacco-free parks and trails. Smoking or the use of tobacco, nicotine products, and vaporizers will not be allowed in City parks or trails. Violators will be subject to a $50.
