The San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District (Valley District) was formed in 1954 as a regional agency to plan a long-range water supply for the San Bernardino Valley.  It imports water into its service area through participation in the State Water Project (SWP) and manages groundwater storage within its boundaries.

  • No Landing Here; Birds and Airports Do Not Mix

    If there is a reservoir along the Pacific Flyway, birds will find it. That is not usually a problem except at the recently constructed Citrus Reservoir where migrating birds could pose a risk to aircraft flying in and out of the neighboring Redlands Municipal Airport.
